My SF buck has a growth on his nose. Just above the nostril, specifically. Noticed a couple weeks ago. Solid, small base, a bit dry and flaky on end. Seems to be getting bigger. No other health issues with the rabbit. Appetite, energy, etc., all good. Handling it doesn't seem to cause discomfort to the buck.

Nothing like this present in any adjoining rabbits.

Leaning toward snipping off and treating wound with Blu-Kote.

Anyone seen anything like this before? Any knowledge to pass on?

Disclaimer: I'm certainly not a vet but I have worked as a veterinary surgery technician for a little while, so take my advice with a grain of salt. However, my advice would be to treat it with an light topical antibiotic for a week and see of there's a change. If no change, treat it with an antifungal. All(virtually) 'diseases' in rabbits come from 1 strain of bacteria. If you treat it with a few things first, an it diesnt respond, it's likely to be a tumor. How do his eyes look? Any discharge?

Edit: if it is a tumor, then I've heard a few things about 'natural medicines' that may work. But that may take a bit more explanation. It is useful though.
