I have a 3 month old Nigerian that has watery eyes (one more than the other). The eye itself looks clear and bright - no fever, eating, drinking, playing. Is it necessarily pink eye or could it be something else. I've read about putting drops of LA200 directly in the eye and also injecting it as well. How many drops? How often? Is LA200 safe for a 3 month old?

Was unable to find Terramycin ointment (excuse my spelling if it is wrong) - did find NFZ Puffer - has anyone used it.

I would see if your vet has some type of eye ointment. I have no problems getting Neomycin & Polymyxin B Sulfates & Bacitracin Zinc Ophthalmic ointment made by Fougera from Wellington Vet.

It could be a lot of things. Hay poke, allergies, got something in their eye, blocked tear duct... who knows. I would go with an eye ointment first before putting anything else in there. You could try some eye drops for people or even just take a clean cloth and wipe her eyes with water.

I've used the NFZ puffer before...blasting powder directly into a goat's eyeball isn't fun. For you, or the goat..

I'm gonna 2nd ksal here and advise that you find an ointment to start off with, since we're not really even sure if this is an actual bacterial problem or not.

I'd start by just flushing with saline and see if it's just an irritant in the eye.
