Could somebody tell me if the following activities are normal

-Male rabbit keeps on falling every time he mounts the girl (not sure if female is kicking male)
-Female started humping the male after a few minutes

Not sure if it was successful. This is the fourth time we tried to mate them.

HELP PLEASE. THANKS! :):)

P.S. We heard a high pitched scream when the male fell off

Yeah, that sounds about right!!

I just did my first round of breeding and everyone in the barn is all hot and bothered, so does were trying to mount bucks and there was insansity! Just how it goes sometimes, rabbits are funny little animals.
Whenever a buck "finishes," he'll fall off the back of the doe and usually makes a grunt or squeaking noise. It's an amusing sight to say the least lol.

Is this the 4th time you've put them together to breed them or the 4th time you've tried to breed them meaning you had 3 unsuccessful attempts with no babies?

Thanks!! 4th time we tried. What's your suggestion? If assuming it's successful, what are your suggestions as next steps? THANKS AGAIN :):p

Hm, well, what kind of rabbits are they, how old are they, and where are you located? If you're in a warmer areas heat could be an issue or cold could be an issue too. In my experience bucks are far less likely to *want* to breed in colder weather...this is just an observation, though, not scientific fact lol!
Make sure they're getting a good pelleted feed, have even exposure to light, and are in good condition. Sometimes rabbits that aren't in the best condition (for whatever reason) won't take or are sterile.

so. ill
get your nest boxes ready, put in about 28 days from the first mating. leave in till 35 days since the last mating. we have tags on each doe's cage so we can keep track of these things and not have kits on the wire because we goofed and she had nowhere to have her babies.

Netherland dwarves. They're about 7-8 months now. I live in the Philippines it's summer here but it's not that hot it still rains from time to time :) When we first tried mating, the girl didn't move at all and seemed scared so we decided not to go thru w it. The latest one tho, the female moved a lot and seemed really interested so we're hoping for the best:)
