My Jersey milk cow had a heifer calf this morning. Took awhile to get the calf nurse, but finally got her on.
DD wants her for a 4-H project next year. The dairy breed is pretty rare up here so it should be interesting.

Just need to get my milk machine set up and away we go.

She kicked me 3 times. Once above my knee and twice below. I have milked kickers before, but she got around me good.
