What breed is he?

We are trying to figure out what bred Twizzler is. He is 5 years old. We got free. He is friendly. Soft fur. And small. He maybe around 3lbs.

He is. We thought maybe mini rex. Becasue we read they have very soft fur.

This might sound mean, but honest its not meant to be. Who cares? He's free, 5 years old, friendly, and cute as a bug's ear. My dog is a pound rescue and if anyone asks her "breed" I tell them she's a "sooner", just as sooner be one breed as another.
Twizzler is adorable. That's enough. You're not going to sell him, show him, breed him or eat him. His "breed" is "pet" and I bet Twizzler doesnt care what you call him. Need something to tell your friends? Say he's a Zazhong. (That's Chinese for "mutt" but who's going to know?

With ears that short and a head that round, I think he's a Netherland Dwarf.
