What colours are you excited about?

Hi,

I am breeding my new doe soon.

I will get harlequin (or sooty fawn and orange), agouti and self black from her.

with a low chance for opal, self blue and dilute of harlequin or non extension.

My other doe if she does well will be otters in blue and black.

My favourite has always been harlequin.
what colours are you breeding or excited about?

Hi @Roseatebunny ! I love seeing brokens and harlies born especially when you don’t realize the cross will produce them! I have a self black doe, a self broken blue buck, and a lilac agouti doe. My buck and the black doe produced a litter of 4- 2 mini daddies, 1 dark gray and one tricolor! My lilac agouti doe bred with the same buck has a 4 day old litter with what I believe to be at least 1 harlie and a few tris!! So I know my buck carries harlequin and all of mine throw some beautiful colors

I’m so jealous of the babies!! I have 2 tricolor bucks, 1 lilac otter doe, and one blue/fawn harlequin doe and I have had no success on breeding them. The does are both virgin and won’t lift. The does are 9 months old and the bucks are father/son 2 years and 11 months. The younger buck is also a virgin. I’m just trying to get them breed to have some pretty babies.
