What ways do you keep your goats cool in the dead of summer?

It will be getting up in the triple digits here in texas I have a lot of shade, and we keep cool water in their waterers. Is there anything else we can do to keep them cooled off?

Sounds like you have it covered. As long as they have choices, they can find the coolest spot. You might consider clipping them, however, hair is a protection, too. Clipped animals can get chilled at night and get more fly and mosquito bites.

Thank You, so far the flies and mosquitos are down unlike last year this year we got a few ducks and chickens and they have been having a field day with the flies and other pests.

The chickens stay around the goats to catch the goodies I think lol.
They don't seem to have much fur not long any ways so I think I will leave their fur as it is.
