Ok, so I have triplets..Nigerians. Born on the 11th. So far momma is nursing all three quite well, no issues. All healthy and pooping/peeing, bouncing, jumping, and being as cute as they can be.

If she at some point momma does begin to have trouble with three and I had to pull one to bottle feed, would they be old enough to go on milk? I know some of you bottle feed from the start. First with colostrum then whole cows milk. The other question is what if I want to pull one because I just love it so much and want to bottle feed it. :)

If you are going to do a bottle, best to introduce as soon as you can. They will resist it at first, but the longer they are on mom exclusively, the harder it is to get them to take a bottle. And if you want to bottle feed one, go for it.

My boys did really well going straight from colosrum to whole milk. They were 1-4 days old. I didn't have any goats milk to switch them over and they didn't scour or anything. Try the bottle raising thing. If you dont like it you dont ever have to do it again! ;)

ETA: Rocky was a pita trying to switch to a bottle at 9 days old after being on mom. Even scoured for a day or two.
