I am new to this whole raising rabbits thing. And in my haste of buying some rabbits, I stopped by the local TSC and grabbed a 50 lbs bag of rabbit feed. I only have three rabbits. I'm just now starting to think and now worry that the feed may start to mold/go bad before they will finish the bag. Would it be a good idea to maybe get a sealed container and put some in the freezer? Is that possible? :idunno

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

If you store it in a clean and dry, covered location, there is no reason that 50 lbs won't be good until you've used it all.

Sounds good. I'm going to head into town today and pick up a sealable container for it.
