What's going on??

Hi! I've been breeding rabbits for about a year, but just starting to breed Holland lops. I have a buck who was born early March, that I got about a month ago. And I was checking him to see if he's "ready" and I saw two flaps of skin where the testicles would be. Is this because they haven't dropped/descended yet? Kinda wierd cause on my other Young bucks I don't see it.

They will pull the testicals in when frightened or hot....he may need another month to get matured and comfortable. ...then he should be ready for breeding..

If you put him in a wire cage and look under you should see the missing equipment. just don't get peed on.

What everyone else said...the bucks will pull in their testicles when they're scared or handled.
