I've read 6 months for the larger breeds. 4 months for the smaller breeds. I have California X's. The male is larger/older than the females (couple of weeks?). My does are 4 months next week. So that would put me breeding them the 2nd week of Sept.

Sound right? Yea, nay?

I breed by weight and body structure. My dutch are bred at 6-7 months of age for the first time, the English Lops are not bred until at least a year of age and I have does nearly 2 and not bred. For CA's I would say based on weight I would breed around 7-8 months of age for best results with litter size as well as kit size.
