When to start grain with dry pregnant does?

I have 2 does that will kid late this Spring and neither is in milk. When should I start feeding grain to them? I've done a little research on-line and the answers vary from the whole pregnancy to just the last month before they kid. My goats are in good condition and are not under-weight. I don't want to have huge babies that are hard to birth. Thanks for any opinions!

4 to 6 weeks before they kid. Start with 1 cup each and work up to about 3 cups over a 10 day period and keep on 3 cups until they kid. Well, this is for standard size breeds. cut in half for mini breeds.
