my Zebu heifer Is pregnat Im not sure of the due date but she was blood testeted on May 26 but was Open retested on September 1 and was pregnant .....This her today ....Anyone want have a guess on her ????..Foot..

Wrong. A heifer can have no udder and still be very close to calving. She can develop an udder soon after a calf's on the ground. Presence of udder is, IMO, the least reliable means of determining how close a cow or heifer is to calving. Besides, heifers don't have much of an udder to begin with. And this is a ZEBU, not a Holstein.brentr said:
IMO, foot, she has dropped, her vulva is quite loose (unless she's on the verge of a vaginal prolapse), so she could calve any day now. I wouldn't be surprised if you find a calf on the ground tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

Thank you WRB for your thoughts. She has as much of an udder as our other cow had when she calfed and there.s a storm approaching so we will be watchful tonight,these Zebu are very tricky. We have another 2 that are blood tested pregnant but they aren,t due until the summer.
