Guys,
I feed supplement my goats with the selenium mineral blocks and this time of year, I start to give them a little bit of feed (Noble Goat, meat goat (not dairy)) as well to boost their copper and mineral intake a little to get them ready to breed.
The feed store supply locally used to have the 100 pound tubs for goats that are high in minerals, etc. They discontinued them b/c of lack of demand and I can understand that. However, I do think I need the "cooked" tubs of mineral out in my pasture, especially this time of year, going in to the Fall. I know loose mineral is better but the goats just seem to play in it and throw it everywhere. I have several mineral and salt blocks but as you guys in NC know, the mineral is of utmost importance.
Where in central NC would I find these goat tubs or what distributor would have these locally? I do not mind driving a little ways. We live in the Clayton/Garner/Fuquay area.
Thank you guys!
