Loving the herd life
Hi all,'
when we feed our two NDs we separate them. The whether gets 1/4 cup of Noble goat pellets and the doe gets 1 cup of Caprine Challenger. I usually shut the doe in their little barn and leave the whether out to eat his. Tonight I set them up to eat and went to let the dogs out and shut the chickens in. I heard the banging on the dorr but didn't give it much thought (It was dark outside). Once I fiished shutting the chciekns in I went back to find that Camilla was out of their little barn and her food dish was on the ground and empty and Fred was looking quite happy. I don't know how much he ate, but she eats very slowly and he is a pushy pig so I am afraid that he may have gotten most of hers as well. I offered her some more (after locking him securely away) and she dug right in..which is another reason why I am afraid he got hers. What do I need to watch for or am I being overly concerned?
