If cat is catching rabbits, it probably is catching other varmints as well. You will
probably want to keep him wormed regularly. Tapeworm is the one my Vet always
says when I say the barn cats need worming. You have to be sure to do both doses
with 2nd dose EXACTLY on time to get the cats cleaned out.

I would also suggest you get the cat his shots and especially a Rabies shot to protect
YOUR FAMILY, if he should get bitten by another animal. Cat Distemper is hard to deal
with, along with Feline Leukemia which is always fatal. Shots keep them immunized
against most common disease for small cost that gives you peace of mind. Nuetering
will also help keep him home better, because male cats tend to wander off much more.

I would say you keeping cat and rabbit apart is just the safest way to do things. Inform
your family members that being seperated from cat at ALL TIMES is REALLY CRUCIAL
to keeping rabbit alive.

Okay I will worm him but he has his shots and stuff . He usually never catches anything which is why this really shocked me . My female cat ate the last of it so I will have to worm her too :/

Cat is just doing what their instincts tell them to do. Goodhors made a lot of good points. Need to get your cat checked. Wild rabbits and other rodents carry diseases which could affect not just your cat but your buns. :)

I dont know that the cant hangin out with the rabbit is actually that big of a deal. I think it depends on the cat.
I have a friend who has 2 indoor outdoor cats and 3 cockatiels. The cats eat bird and sleep with the house birds.
Its not unusual to see a bird on a cat in the house. But ....... this is also JMO.

Wild rabbits can carry pasteurella and tularemia as well as coccidia. Those could be passed from your cat to your domestic rabbit. I would keep them separate until you are sure that the cat is disease/worm free.
