Our first kidding was today. Far Out Star Sailor (Star) is a first freshener and did a great job!


Here is Star, a few days before kidding. Her back is already sloping quite a bit. Her ligaments are pretty soft at this point and she is getting more friendly. She knows something is up.

Two hooves, a nose, and a TONGUE! (I love that!) The tongue was going in and out while he was still on his way into the world! (It looks like I'm pulling here, but I'm really not, Just holding.)

Mom did so great! Both kids presented "diving" and #2 just slid right on out. I barely got back there in time! YAY STAR!!! :thumbsup

I do think their little faces look like rabbits. Something about the triangle shape? Thanks everyone! I'll try to post some day #2 pics tomorrow.
