No more car tires on single axle trailer! You got trailer tires for it? Most people don’t know there’s a difference. I’m something of a legend around here. My trailer tires aren’t worn out, no threads showing, they hold air and even still have those little rubber hickey do’s that look like fat hairs sticking out on the sidewalls!

My dh worked at a Goodyear retread plant for years. Those little whiskers on the treads are officially referred to as "vents", the job of removing them is called "vent trimming", but the slang term rhymes with "pits"! :hide:ep:gig

Most of the stock trailer use is under 20 miles both ways and only certain times of the year. (why the camper gets new ones) I didn't want to spend that $$$ on less than 300 miles a year. Last year or the year before I had some of those car tires last 1 day after only 10 miles, other times a few months.
Also we don't get the 4-ply car tires, they can't take the rocks on our dirt roads. So they should've worked. :fl

I've been watching my hive of bee's by the feed/tack room and thinking weeks ago I should split them before they swarm. Outside earlier I watched a swarm go into the tree by my back door.
Uh-oh.... hope you managed to capture the swarm and get them resettled into a new hive...

They're in a hole in the tree. I get some in there a lot. It's ok with me. That is the same tree that had bee's in it when (or shortly after) I moved in. They did pick a new location though. I am going to have to take the tree down this summer though. It's completely dead now and close to the house. It's also the tree that had a limb take out the power line back in Feb?.
