Good morning! Everyone is fed, coffee is made, and at hand.
Might do a farmers' market run, then thrift stores. I have curtains to hang, and need a rod.
ETA: So pleased, DS has been awarded a scholarship towards his first semester at the local community college! My BA in English son is enrolled in construction, carpentry, etc.
High of 100°F supposed to go hiking, but someone flaked out as I suspected. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do with the day, trying hard to not work.
58-81 today. Heading over to DS and DDIL to help spread mulch. DDIL is 2 months away from baby-time, her get 'er done meter has started. LOL just wait until she's ready to pop goodness only knows what she'll be up to then .
Then it's head to the PO to pick up Amazon boxes - kinda did some shoppin' on the prime days this week. Wish the PO delivered boxes here.
Tomatoes are starting to turn red, looking like a whole lotta cannin' going to happen soon.
Wow, started out fairly decent. Blue skies and all. Got a few things done at barn where I milk. Feed & milking done -- inside and thunder starts. Peeled & sliced about 4# of onions & put in dehydrator so I can chop some & grind some in a day or so. Ran out & closed car windows as a lot of thunder was happening. Then winds, loud lightening cracking & a downpour started. . Still going on. Crap. Didn't need rain. Now an inside day.
