I also keep reminding myself that goats will eat my flowers, and plan (plant) accordingly!

That's a great idea ---- but you read the threads of goats getting out, right?? Yeah they are cute for sure, when they are where you want them! Too funny - just this last Saturday I got a phone call from one of my dog training students asking about how to get a goat back to where it should be. Her neighbor (who wasn't home) had a goat get out and wander down the road. Yeah - goats! This is where I want to put them:
Enabler!!Myotonic (fainting) goats don't jump.....just saying! They'll stand up on their hind legs to reach yummy browse, but jumping is not generally in their wheelhouse.

Myotonic or Tennessee Fainting Goat - The Livestock Conservancy
The goats of this breed have a host of names: Myotonic, Tennessee Fainting, Tennessee Meat, Texas Wooden Leg, Stiff, Nervous, and Scare goats. The names refer to the animal's myotonia congenita, a condition in which the muscle cells experience prolonged contraction when the goat is startled.livestockconservancy.org
