Ugh. The little Air B&B is clean and cute but OMG the bed is hard as a rock and there’s no where else to sleep. Pain is off the charts, I am struggling to breathe and am nauseated. He’s hurting too. Even though we paid for 2 nights we are getting a motel room for tomorrow (actually that’s today). Another bad decision that cost me money.

I got checked in, showered, hit the bed and didn’t wake up for 16 hours!

Day afters are ALWAYS rough but today is just plain brutal after being stuffed into the backseat, trying to comfort Boone through his terrors. I am a mass of bruises after he stepped all over me in his panic. I never want to see him go through that again. I’m laying here crying because he was always so joyful as my Service Dog. He loved meeting people and going new places and I could always depend on him, not just to keep me upright but for anything I needed from him. I’m going to miss him being beside me when I have no choice but to leave the ranch for groceries or medical reasons

I got back and discovered that doing dishes and cleaning up after himself is apparently not in Brother in laws contract…so I have a sink and stoveful of pots and pans, etc to wash when my pain finally subsides enough
