So I have a saddlebred/Percheron gelding. 7yo. he has dropped some weight and feels and looks ribby. He is on a regular worming schedule. He was fed 5lbs of sentinel performance per day while in heavy work. Now in no work he is fed almost 8lbs and is dropping weight. Someone suggested it might...
So this may sound silly, but if I crossed say a flemish giant with a nzw buck, could I still breed the Flemish giantwith another Flemish giant buck later and still have those Babies be pure bred? Meaning do rabbits retain DNA like cats for later use?
I had a doe that had mites, and I used just regular horse dewormer (just a pea sized amount on a popcicle stick) and with in 2 days the ear mites where gone. This worked much better than the oil. Unfortunately because I didn't know she had mites and let it go, she developed an inner ear...
So a bred my spotted/checkered mutt doe to my Cali buck and I got 8 awesome kits. 5 all white, one a satin ish grey, one black and white spotted and one brown one that looks like a chipmunk. There must be some mutt something in there, but they will make nice hats and muffs!!!
Just wanted to give you all an update, (Internet's been down for a while) she kindled a week late but gave birth to 4 little white kits that are now just over 2 weeks old! I think she is going to be the bunny that does stuff on her own schedule... just like my dog. She never follows a heat...
So I have a 19 year old retired jumper, he seems a little stiff in the rear end just at the walk. Are there any good senior supplemens that might help? Thanks
See that would make perfect sense, if loki where actually the boss in my herd. Hes always been low man on the totem pole, if any horse were to behave this way id have thought it would have been my fathers arab/morgan gelding. Who really is a pushy bossy grump of a horse. And now all the sudden...
I dont think im doing anything differently, loki (the horse in question) is still the first one to be fed, the first one that i attempt to.catch. this is the first time that new horses have been brought to him, hes always gone to other barns. I have kind of distanced myself in order to let...
So when i picked up my 8 week old flemish giant from the breeder, her ears were normal, now at tej weeks they seen to be lopped. The no longer stick up. What happened?
Ok, so i currently have 4 horses. I had 2 living at home and 2 at a friends. I brought the two that were at a friends house home Saturday. And ever since, my normally sweet calm and easy going draft cross gelding has been a jerk. Refusing to.be caugjt, which he has NEVER done. And i just dont...
Well she had 4 kits and they are doing great, though i have no idea where the fourth one came from! I check and there were 2 and theb there were four! Silly rabbit
My horses have a nice big run in, that they almost never use. During a massive snowstorm here they were both out standing in the grossest weather (they had their blankets on) and when i went out the next morning thete wasn't a single track in thw run in. Silyy horses
Thanks. Umm checking the vent would help but.. im color blind. . So. Yeah i cant see red/purple. But its now a moot point. I checked in her this pm abd she was pulling fur like a madwoman. Then i checked again when i gave the horses theirevening hay, and there were at least 2 kits in there...
