As secuono said, rabbits' ears often droop when temperatures climb. In large breeds, this can lead to a reduction in the strength of the support structures of the ear. Larger breeds with larger ears have a lot of trouble with this. I've had a couple really good Harlequins that I couldn't show because their ears "fell" during hot weather and they lost a lot of ear control. An English Angora breeder I know often tapes the ears together in an attempt to keep them from falling like that.

not sure about that

but I have seen rabbits lower their ears when they are not feeling well or have ear mites

also make sure it is not too hot for the rabbit. Sometimes it feels ok to us but the rabbits are hot. Especially large breeds like this.
