Leonardo....but have to admit...Not Leo was great ... made me think one of your younger children named him :) Or call him Deuce as he is kind of Leo the second?
:frow Welcome to BYH and welcome to the wonderful world of sheep!!! :)
My oldest ewe Dolly is coming on 9 years old and has had many lambs...her udder is "saggy" as in needs a bra...LOL...I have to feel it to determine if she is producing some milk in there or if the udder is empty. She has a...
Sorry about the flu bug hitting your house...has hit here too. For some reason, I was thinking about the fact that it has been a long time since you've posted pics of D and of Moses...nice surprise to see them! :weee:weee
Heckerdy...you totally are NOT a dork!!!! We have hair sheep...aka...meat sheep...no beer or drugs before taking them to the processor, but truly...8 years later, still cry leaving them there...then crying all the way home. Putting a towel over the meat in the freezer for a few weeks to not...
:loveLoved those "little" pup photos and can never get enough photos of ALL your dogs!!! And you are so right...when I am having a hard time...my pet dogs are great...but something very different about how Keera consoles me more deeply. So glad I have followed your dogs and the LGD thread on...

Being a parent is not easy and I think how you handled it was best :hugs
I hate that my granddaughters also will be told about this (like you, minus the gory details and constant tv coverage) and sad as it is...still best to hear it from parents rather than in school.
My opinion is that you...
:frowWelcome to BYH! Unlike the rest, my babies are sheep, not goats. However, although not identical...much is the same and I love seeing everyone's animals and babies :) Very helpful and supportive people here and you've come to the right place for goat/sheep addiction enablers
Agreed Southern. My daughter and family live in France close to the Switzerland border...she knows that her 6 and 10 year old will hear this when they go to school on Monday...no way to shield them from that, much as she wants to. We talked on the phone a long time last night while this was...
