:frowWelcome to BYH! Unlike the rest, my babies are sheep, not goats. However, although not identical...much is the same and I love seeing everyone's animals and babies :) Very helpful and supportive people here and you've come to the right place for goat/sheep addiction enablers

Welcome! :welcome I am also new into the love of goats and have just gotten started with them!
Howdy fellow goat-a-holic! :frow I must tell you ahead of time, i do have an addition; and that is" goats". just thought i'd get that out there first. problem with that. the only cure is "more goats". I am working on this as we speak. :thumbsup Well I just wanted to say again Thank You for the warm welcome. Also wanted to "Welcome You to the Herd"as well! I haven't had much time grazing around the yard, but do like all the wonderful, friendly, & warm critter lovers that I've had the pleasure of chatting with. Well gotta go, looking forward to chatting with you again. I have a pic of one of my babies on the picture of the week, shes wearing her pink sunglasses. She is our spoiled rotten to the core lil goat. oh coarse she is 16 months old now plus shes 3 mos. preg.. she was the first kid born on the farm.

Howdy fellow herder! I like critter pics large & small, any & all as well. I'm with ya'll, I do like this site. I just can't seem to figure it out.I havn't grazed around much since i signed on. But, I LOVE talking about goats/sheep/chickens/dogs , all animals. Especially when they are interested in taking the best care of their babies as I do. and any & all suggestions we can give to each other as we all go on this journey of down home country living on a farm with all things critters, is most appreciated. It's the right place for me.

welcome from arklahoma. and you need to know, there is no cure for goat addiction. from now on when you are talking to people and their eyes glaze over you'll know that you lapsed into goat talk again.
oh my, goat gurl you are so right and thank you for your warm welcome. i can be talking about the weather and next thing i know i'm talking about the clover in the field that needs that rain thats coming, and that leads me to talking about how much my goats really need that clover & winter rye to grow. :idunno i'll notice their either trying to walk away or change the subject. the problem is, i didn't even realize i had wondered off into goat land. what to do? :caf so i just get on this here computer and joined the herd where others love to talk about their babies as much as i do. yep, I admit it; I am a goat-a-holic.. but there an't nothing wrong with that. ok, nuf said about that. Well, I raise Nigerian dwarf dairy goats. love um , love um. so whats your addition? :love so i hope to see you around the backyard.

Greetings once more (already said HI in another post) :frow from the front range in Colorado. Sure sounds like you're addicted ;) Great to have ya here! Look forward to more pics and hearing more. I don't have mine yet... waiting till spring. :welcome
Hooowdy! thanks again. so, come spring what breed do you plan on raising? here, we have Reg. Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. they are alot of fun. and just love love love their milk as well. it's top notch. they are not that big so their easier for me to take care of, looked at full size goats, but decided to go with this breed cause of their size. not to mention the kiddos are so cute. i started with 2 does. and then 4 mos later got a buck to breed them with. now 2 years later i have 10 goats. not to mention 5 of my does are due to kid in jan. 2016. so looking forward to them lil kiddos. :celebrate well gotta go, barn chores a calling. see you around the barnyard.:frow
