    No prob...she has had the mucus for a little while, really gooey. I just appreciate any help! The prolapse makes me a little nervous, guess this will be her first and last kidding.

    I did check out that thread and saved it to my bookmarks. They were very pretty. Not sure what type of honey...comb or otherwise. Right now I'm just concerned with trying to learn as much as possible to keep them alive.

    Thank you. Those were a lot of the concerns I had. I did get some pollen patties to supplement, just in case.     Good to know. Never did get the hive set up...in the house right now. I keep hearing opinions on foundation or none. What do you guys think, what's best?

    I'm going to be setting up my hive this weekend. It's a 10 Frame double deep, I opted to go with beeswax foundation. I didn't want them to have to work harder than necessary,not sure if that's the right decision....

    Ordered placed. Spoke with the guy who heads up the site. He stressed study study study...I feel like that's a good thing. I ordered 4lbs with an Italian queen,he said that kind is calmer. Any input?

    That's a lot of bees. I did think/worry about the idea of not getting the queen or hurting some of the bees. Have any of you heard of northwest bee supply? Thinking of ordering from them

    I've heard that local bees do better. Found a place called northwest bee supply, going to check there and also going to call my gpa and ask if he has a bee guy for his berry fields. Bees from the supply place are about 30-40 miles from my house.

    I personally would just dive and take my chances...I'm a little more daring with stuff like this than the DH. Looked into northwestbeesuppy.com Not sure. Would have to drive to Olympia I think yo get them. Wil keep looking
