Tons of other good info in this thread, I will keep my post short and to the point.
Female rabbits can and very often are protective of their home. That is what it sounds like to me.
She comes at you when you enter HER space.
Some get over it some don't.
We have 2 Nubian boys that know exactly what an electric fence is. I have 2 strands of 1/2 wide electric tape and 2 strands of the yellow rope wire. They were hard headed at first and would walk right through it.
They did learn to respect it, and one day the bottom line broke a clip and was on...
HE is a beast, very sturdy. I will get a few new pics of him tomorrow. He is full grown and definitely has his goat on....
She is 5 1/2 months old, I figure she would be ready to breed in the fall.
I have not put my hands on her, my work pretty much uses up all the useable time during the...
Well that is the issue, I will not be able to from the sounds of it. she was purchased to be a pet and they now have no time for her.
It is kind of a crap shoot, but she is only $75.
She is suppose to pure Nubian, no papers. And a bad pic, but it is the best I have at this point.
She is suppose to have come from spotted lines.
Here is an pic of the buckling I want to breed her with. He is however full grown, I just don't have a recent pic. Shame on me.... :)
Well she is doing wonderful, she has been in the paddock and walked around the back field. She is still a bit Leary some times, but she is getting more and more used to us.
She has only been here since Saturday, and we can not get enough of her. We have her quarantined right now to get used to the noise and surroundings.
She gets walks and attention daily. We hope to get her into general population this weekend.
This is Angel, she is 10 years old, was a 4H show girl, and has been packed.
She hasn't really been handled in about 3 years so she is getting a regular regiment of love and attention.
She lives with 2 Nubian goats, to keep her company.

Dicks is the best I have found. You will pay the lower cost of the repair and get the 1 yr warranty.
We found a local dairy farm that will be giving away pure bred nubs this spring. Our boys will be well able to breed by this point, but the female would obviously not be ready until the following spring. Would we be better off getting a mature female this spring or getting a baby and raising it...
Well, we are just waiting for my MIL to go to work tomorrow and talk to her co-worker whose husband works with the guy who is looking for homes for his goats. It sounds like there are three available, and we only want one at this time, but a doctor that Mom works with wants the other two. So...
Thanks for all the great information! The boys are doing great. They are still sucking down 20-ounce bottles three times a day, but aren't really interested in their hay or feed (we have maybe a half-cup in their feeder and offer it to them every time we are in there with them. Nigel will...
Toby and Nigel have been doing great in the barn! Well, ok, so it's only been 36 hours. I will be heading out with their morning bottles in about half an hour. Yesterday, they each sucked down 20 ounces at each of their three feedings, so I think being in a larger area, and outside where it...
My MIL will be using a smaller needle next time for sure! Compared to the 16ga the employee was showing me, the 18ga looked more reasonable, and I went with the advice that's what she uses for her goats. I had my list with me, but had neglected to write down a needle size (I think I was...
Thanks, everyone! We do love these little guys! They spent their first night out in the barn last night, and seemed to do quite well, although they were very happy to see me and the girls this morning with their warm bottles. My MIL came over last night for dinner and injections. Went, ok...
Today we stopped at TSC and picked up some goodies for the boys. We got them some loose minerals, feed, and C/D-T vaccine and syringes/needles. Ben's mom (ER nurse) is coming over this evening to teach us how to give injections! :P Toby is back to his cough. Mostly after eating, but it...
Toby is our little guy, the one that was tube fed when he was first born. He is a little slower, more likely to hang out with us rather than take off on his own, and screams for "Maaaaaaaa!" when hungry or "lost."
