The mother came back last night! This morning I realized all of the babies are gone. No sign of a predator. So I'm assuming the mom relocated them? Do rabbits usually do this if they sense something has been messing with their babies?

I was just able to find their old nest, including the mothers fur. I transported all of the babies to the nest. :) They all look pretty healthy-- including the one with the sore foot.

I found my cockerel in the nest boxes the other day. I found out he was trying to show the hens where he things is a good spot to lay their eggs. Not sure if that's the same reason for your rooster or not, but I just thought I'd throw that out there.

I had a chick hatch yesterday too (Day 20). And then I had 3 chicks hatch this morning. And several chicks are still working their way out of their eggs! It really is amazing, congratulations on the new additions!
