In my personal opinion, why does it matter "why" all of this is going on. She's a great mother. When she fought off her last kits, you knew she was going to have more. You are learning how she does things and what's "right " for her. She's an odd one, that's for sure! Until you hear from someone...
We love Bloodhounds:) Used to raise them...lost my momma dog and didn't have the heart to have any more, so we found other awesome homes for all but our original (Boone stayed here!), and father to the 3 litters of pups we had...still miss them.

In all honesty, I think it's kind of hard to tell you without seeing your setup, how and what you feed, are there any other animals around, etc. Everyone has to learn, but don't get discouraged....it will work out eventually. What works for one person may not work for you. Whatever you do...
