@Latestarter and @promiseacres, It totally depends for me when I name an animal! Sometimes I think of a name before I get one, and when I get it I think . . . uh . . . that was a stupid name . . .
Like, I TOTALLY wanted to name my goat Fitz, but when I got him, I was like, nope, he's a Leopold...
I have maybe LITERALLY thought of about 1,000 names for a little mini donkey gelding! (He is not born yet, and he doesn't even exist! :P I'm getting him next year!)
I am killing my brain trying to think of the perfect name for him! Grrrrrrr why is it so hard!!??
If anyone has any GREAT donkey...
Thanks!!
Well, Clementine is a Pygmy, but we think Maisy is a mixed breed. The person we got her from didn't know. She doesn't really look like a Pygmy.
Here! I got some pictures of Leopold and the herd! Leo is the black and white one . . . the other small one is Clementine, and the adult is Maisy!!! <3
Thanks! I ADORE donkeys!!! If you haven't read it yet, I wrote a thread about donkeys . . . if you haven't seen it already!

OH YOUR GOAT IS ADORABLE!! I LOVE HIM!
My mom took a picture of Leopold. . . but it was on her camera, so it's not on the computer . . . ;) I could try to describe him. :) He is a little Pygmy goat maybe 1 foot tall . . . he is blackish greyish with a big white stripe going up and down on his...
He is a pygmy.
Haha! lol I'm so used to donkeys and horses . . . . XD thanks for reminding me! I knew that. :P duh
hm . . . . alfalfa . . . isn't that a little more expensive than the "normal" kind of hay????
I got my very first (ever) goat! His name is Leopold. He is black and white . . . and he is a wether. He loves to hang out with his buddies Maisy and Clementine. He was bottle fed by the previous owners just once or twice . . . he is about 4 or 5 months old and he is ADORABLE. I love him so...
Haha! Sounds like me! ;) we just got started with goats too . . . and Mom doesn't want to take care of a donkey during the winter . . . plus I don't think you can find a baby this time of the year very easily. :) That's cool that you live in Minnesota too! I love it here! I would never want to...
Yes, I thought about teaching him to pull a cart . . . :) But mostly just for a pet . . . and maybe weed control. He can just hang out with our goats and any other donkeys we get! ;)
Well, we have some friends up in Duluth . . . they have donkeys. And there are TONS of horse stables around my house . . . Mom said I could go ask for a job at one of them. Sure, that's horses . . . but maybe they know stuff about donkeys too!
