Thought I’d post a picture of my Babydoll baby and her mom.

Haven’t posted in a while. Lambs are arriving. It’s been fun so far. I also added 4 ewes over the winter.

Growing the flock. Adding 4 bred ewes to the group. Another breeder near me fell ill and I agreed to buy herd bred ewes as she was not going to be able to care for them during lambing time. Glad I had the ability to take them on.

Got the building and pens finished.

2nd Mini Harlequin lamb. Thank goodness the weather is nice here right now. We weren’t supposed to have any until late March.

It was 9 degrees when he was born in a 3 sided barn. Cold start for the little girl.

They’re not big, but they are there. 3 on his head. 🤣

Surprise. 1st lamb came 2 months earlier than we planned. A Harlequin spotted ewe lamb. Mom and baby doing great.

Yep file, cut, break them off. Honestly it may be you that catches them. I’m constantly doing that kind of stuff.

Yep got that, blade or bullet will get it done if needed.

We have a litter of 11 right now. Momma will take care of them, but watch to be sure all are gaining weight properly. Ours are 3 weeks old now and we started split feedings during the day. 1/2 on mom while the others get puppy mush, then 3 hours later switch that. Stops the fighting over...

We raise doodles. Bordoodles, border Collie x poodle, aussiedoodles and cockapoos. We have 9-10 litters a year.
