Question for Dog Folks

Starship Lucy has quelled the crew mutiny and landed all crew listed on the ship's roster. Seems there were four stowaways so total count at Basecamp Lucy is 12.

Any pointers on rearing 12 puppies?

Basecamp Emma is doing well with the eight.

@Grant thanks for your pointers.

Mission Control is shutting down any future space flights so these two are it.

We have a litter of 11 right now. Momma will take care of them, but watch to be sure all are gaining weight properly. Ours are 3 weeks old now and we started split feedings during the day. 1/2 on mom while the others get puppy mush, then 3 hours later switch that. Stops the fighting over spots once they have teeth as they start getting mom and she’s not too keen on feeding while having the undercarriage chewed on. 🤣🤣🤣

Puppies are doing very well. They got their first dose of wormer earlier this week with weights ranging from 2.5ish (group of 12) and 3.5iish (group of 8).

Courtesy of one of the eight:

Hark! The herald puppy barked.
How did I get out of the box?
Where’s my mom who feeds me well?
Where’s the others? I know their smell!
What’s this vision I do see?
Everything is bigger than me!
Hark! The herald puppy barked.
How did I get out of the box?

Update.... or should I say pupdate!

Scout Starship Emma has landed and her eight passengers, strangers in a very strange land, have emerged, but stay very close to their mothership.

3 cream colored and 5 dark colored passengers all active and eating well.

Mother Starship Lucy is still enroute and has radioed that it will go into orbit when it is good and ready, thank you very much.
