Is it okay to start with one ram and one lamb?

Absorbing all input. Want to 'adopt' several (1 ram-? and 2 lambs) this coming year.

Older, want to be prepared, knowledgeable, and realistic about what to add. Yrs, and chuckle!

While reading this months later, am finding pictures, your posts... And group encouragement powerful! Can't wait to start my journey next year.
