Ok, I did find this http://healthypigs.easystorecreator.com/items/hair-and-skin-care-items/aqua-spray-3010-detail.htm
Has any heard of this or used it?
 I have 70 birds (chickens, ducks, geese and even 9 guineas) that free-range the backyard. They do a pretty good job of getting the ticks from there. The problem was he has been getting out from under the fence. We are currently installing electric fencing to hopefully prevent this...
Our Pot bellied Pig Patrick has been getting out of the yard and going into the woods (we are taking care of that). He had 10 ticks on him today. I've read PBP can get Lymes disease. Is there something that we can give him to prevent the ticks from getting on him?
Well the end of the quarter came and Patrick was in 3rd place, so I was sure he didn't win. Tonight I checked to see the winners and it turns out that even though Patrick did not get the most votes for the quarter, he did get Patrick Ian Grady - Editor's Choice - 2011 3rd Quarter Winner! I'm so...
Though the piggies will always be hungry they don't need as much as you might think. They are started off with 1/4 cup of mini pig food twice a day per piggie. Definitely handle them a lot if you want them to be tame. If you plan on harnessing them, it 's best to start young. They don't like...
Patrick just appeared at his 3rd Kiss the Pig Event this year. As usually he was a "Ham"! :P
Voting for the quarter is until September 30th. All votes are appreciated :)
Thanks Emily. I think we will be putting something like this. Like I said it's just a number, not really selling, so just needed an idea of what he could be sold for if we were to sell him.
Thanks. He is trained, not grumpy. Very well behaved overall. Not so good a leash though. He is about to do his 3rd Kiss the Pig event (don't think this really counts, but is kind of a cute fact)
I realize this is difficult to assess as he is not a meat pig, but a pet. and 1 that will not be...
Thanks. I guess we are looking for worth as a pet. I guess I'll just have to keep looking. I did look to see what it might cost if someone was adopting. Looks like some charge the cost of neuter/spaying. Since he was neutered maybe I should go with the cost of that? :hu
For a 4-H project book my son has to document what his 1 year old barrow PBP would be worth. I have no clue. Any input would be great. I tried looking at classifieds to get an idea what they would sell for, but no luck so far. Mostly piglets or farm pigs is what I'm coming up with. Thanks in...
I don't know if PBP and farm pigs are the same as far as acorns go, but our PBP's pee was really red and we realized it was from eating acorns. He hasn't had any problems except that it turned his pee red.
