Our Pot bellied Pig Patrick has been getting out of the yard and going into the woods (we are taking care of that). He had 10 ticks on him today. I've read PBP can get Lymes disease. Is there something that we can give him to prevent the ticks from getting on him?

Maybe one of those tick collars you can buy for dogs. I don't know if they're safe for pigs, but it's an idea.

I don't think they would fit or stay on. Plus he would probably get in snagged on something in the yard.

you could get some free range poultry to eat the ticks.
 I have 70 birds (chickens, ducks, geese and even 9 guineas) that free-range the backyard. They do a pretty good job of getting the ticks from there. The problem was he has been getting out from under the fence. We are currently installing electric fencing to hopefully prevent this, but....... there is currently still the tick problem.

What about the liquid drops?
Just want to make sure what ever we give him is safe for him.
