Yes, the lil stinker. I knew the days that she bred, so her due date could have been March 13, or April 4th. Well when the first due date came and went, I knew that the first time didn't take. It was easy breezy for her! I don't mind at all that she didn't need me!

I heard that and should have taken it to heart! My Lamancha was 6 days early. The only clue that she gave me was she bagged up a little the night before. (We were both first timers.) I woke up to my boys yelling "Bernice gave birth to twins!" I can't wait to see pics.:pop

Thank you for answering! So is 5/8 inside diameter too big? I have been feeling the buds, and so far they are not big enough. I don't want to not have the right size, and my only option would be to order a different disbudding iron online. That takes time. I am in Blaine County, so I am too far...

I'll ask here as well, since I haven't received a response on my new post. What size tip should I use to disbud? I bought a disbudding iron with an ID of 5/8 and and OD of 3/4. Is that too big? Thanks so much!

:yuckyuck I know! And March 30th wasn't even on the schedule! I was told that she would probably kid 5 days early, as her mama always did. I should have listened! I was clueless. I am so happy that she didn't need me to be the expert. She handled herself like an old pro!

Update: March 13 due date has come and gone! You all were right. April 4th is looking like the probable date. Until then, I have the cuteness of baby chicks to tide me over. LOL
