Oops - here's another one I found on a Shetland sheep site with some good information: http://www.shetlandsheepinfo.com/MEAT&OTHER/dairy.htm I was told that you can milk any sheep you can catch :lol: although different breeds produce different amounts.

This was an interesting article I found comparing different milk: http://www.shepherdgourmetdairy.com/images/nutrition.pdf It took some doing but we did manage to find some sheep milk at a local organic store to try it (it's seasonably available) - it was thick and creamy. Didn't quite taste...
