Thank you. I am so happy I got 7 a pound. It should be enough to have my next lamb. I was sad to see him go but that is the project and I’m learning how it rolls.

Yes, both glad and sad at same time. Being a farmer has its moments. $7 per pound is awesome! Now another lamb, more things to learn.

I wish shows had a grass fed catagory. Something more sustainable than just feed to the animals. The careful diet for show animals is not sustainable in the real world of farming.

That would be cool but my lamb could never graze here, just to many poisonous weeds

I am so happy y’all joined me on this crazy journey this past year. I am going to be making a new thread for my new lamb. Here are some final pictures of us by the photographer.

He sure had some woolly booties going on! By the time you took him to fair, how old was he?

Trinity County fair was this weekend. I went Friday afternoon and got to watch the lamb judging. Best I could tell, it looked like the lambs were divided into classes by weight. Then they took the top 2 in each class and declared a best in show.

Loved following along. But I really dislike the wooly legs...just looks " forgotten or half done". 🤣. Would never fly at a horse show! that's what they want -- I just ain't with it. 🤣
Ha ha. I would never consider them half done with the hour I put into making them look fluffy like that. and the days I spend working the hair.
I’m sorry but fluffy feet are already a thing in horses.
