OK - not stepping in on parents side because I've got probably a different reason. I'd say -- are you sure you want to do that because he just got over the bout of whatever. Thinking the stress and the oh so recent unfun moments even this week. I'd hold off a week. Yeah - and you really want to do it - that's the hard part - not doing it.

Parents have reasons for trying to use some common sense. He could be fine but considering... if he gets sick again, there might not be any reserves in his immune system... is the possibility of him getting sick and burying him worth it?

Yeh that’s what I keep thinking. It’s so hard, this is the first point show of the season. I’ll probably still go and barrow my friend sheep for showmanship. But he won’t get any points

So he'll be behind in points, but you've learned A TON & gotten some valuable experience.
Personally, I'd be a wreck having him so close to all those other animals; not knowing what sort of history they've got over the past couple of weeks and his system having been so stressed.
