I never want to touch another roll of fencing after this. I do it all alone, by hand. I'm more than sick n tired of it. And it's very hilly, all fence lines will be going up, at various amounts of steepness.Love it. Ha - it’s like one of the math word problems in grade school!
You could go with fewer paddocks and see how it works, adding paddocks when you know more what will work for you.
I have a tractor for wood posts & moving equipment, but tposts are fully by hand, so is unrolling fencing. Well, the hill will unroll them at least. Lol.
I'm thinking 12 paddocks...I don't want to keep growing the flock, way too many rams I'll be keeping for dog food. And people are too weird about what they want, with all of the liars breeding & selling mutts, so it's no longer worth it to keep growing. Might sell some other sheep this year, too.
If I do 12, then the 7 paddocks by the barn change to just two. So, those fence rolls & tposts will be pulled and reused.
