Finally getting decent rain, but weeds are growing instead of grass...
90% Spiny pigweed. Ugh. 2 days ago, now knee high. Other areas just blah looking.

That DA%# spiney pigweed just grows like gangbusters when it gets a good soaking... does very little and then jumps up 2 ft all at once. I feel for you... I HATE IT....
We have gotten some rain finally, also....... 1 inch Tuesday evening and another .6 inch this afternoon. Thank you lord... it might save the pastures, and the hayfields for a late 2nd cutting... and the corn might come on and be halfway decent... we will see.
