Well, all of their individual wonderfulness could be listed. Separate ads, just see which one sells first. It was never considered to just say "sheep". Otherwise, muddle through it until you decide.

Plus...meat animals aren't just bred "willy, nilly". Excellent bloodlines are needed to produce the meat that goes on your table if you're a discerning buyer. I sure don't consider a $15,000 cow, or $5K goat a willy nilly. So if you have the super bloodlines, sell to a breeder looking for egg collection and embryo transfers.

Most I see, meat, are willy nilly. Dozens of ewes to one ram. All sold for 50-150. Not worth bothering with. There's no meat animals worth that here. You're talking about show/4h meat, not straight actual meat.

Either way, all is over, 3 left to sell. 2 are pending transport.

Propped the gates open to a sheep sized gap. Ran them in/out a few times. Hoping horses don't bust their way in & sheep figure out how to get out for water n back in for hay...
Hay feeder not under shelter, supposed to rain. Only put out one bale. Hope it's gone by now. Will have to figure out a new roof before feeding more, if they figured out how to get out...
Guess I need to move them into breeding groups, if I'm doing that, now that there's just 24 of them....but sale ewes are taking up two paddocks. Hmm, where to put them....Gotta keep them separated, as 5 are seeing the vet & then leaving together. Other 3 have no buyer yet and it's much easier to do everything when they're fully separate vs having to pick out which sheep all of the time.
Mud, mud, mud. Hate winter.
