Are there favorite colors that sell better than others?
Haha, not really. There's purists who only want white and some of those only want white with only white in the lines. Then some like black, but they get mad when some go grey. And others like spots, but get mad when it's not loud enough and then they find out that the black areas go grey and the white areas get ticking, equalling a muddled, patchy grey sheep.

Same with goats...crossbreds often change color between kid to adult. Fade, etc. I have one I kept was very load at birth, stunning, now looks like someone washed her in bleach water. šŸ™„šŸ„“ Will be anxious to see kids from her next yr.

Magnemite over the years. Can see how blah he ends up in winter. Better when shorn, but it's changing as well.

This one, that you said too bad heā€™s a ram, wonā€™t keep him.
He's 9.99#. Mom is pretty small, so that's a big lamb, but big for regular ewes, too.
And I was wrong, he also has agouti markings on the face! Too bad he's a ram, won't keep him.

Since you didnā€™t want to keep him in the first place, then itā€™s a moot point about his color. I thought maybe he had special color.

Agouti is the wrong color in the breed, but since the original sheep were unknown breeds, its possibly normal for it to exist, so I've kept ewes with it to see what happens. For rams, I'm far too picky to keep one just for almost invisible agouti. Rams do nothing 10 months of the year, other than take up space and eat my money.

Spotted ewe, keeping!
And she's the ewe I left a full tail on. Feels weird, floppy, but thick and meaty, strange combo. Lol

And Clefairy's ewe lamb still can't fully lift her head, so she's given a bottle 2x a day. Not sure if she's able to nurse off mom much or not.
