3 Fiber Alpaca males in my yard

I love my boys, and they are beautiful animals with the most awesome fiber ever.... but as I get older I know I cannot handle the shearing every year.

Was wondering how many folks here live near me (Harnett Co, NC) and have other fiber animals and might want some alpacas?

well... it isn't really a "have to"... just wanting to be sure I can handle my pets. My boys are so great, and in spite of them being totally wild when we got them. Now they come to me, eat from my hand and even (when in the mood) will drink water from my hands...

I'm hoping that a potential trade will work out. A herdswoman near me (ok, in the same state) is wanting alpaca fiber boys, and has LOTS of angora goats and bunnies. I don't have a place for the bunnies... but have room and plenty of room in my heart for some goats.
