30 Cows 30 Days

[Fun-E-Farm]

I used to do a lot of art just for fun but in the past 10 years have done little to nothing. Well, I decided to get back into is so my first self imposed challenge is to do 30 cows in 30 days. I thought I would share them here .

Now, just a warning, I am no expert, I do it more for fun and want to keep it fun. It is just to try and get my mojo back .

Ok, here is the first one...

ATC Sharpie Marker, Colored Pencil

Some of these will have a moon theme as I am trying to come up with something I like for a friendly competitive eBay auction "contest" with other artists and the theme this month is "Moonlight". Most will also be trading card size (ATC) as that is easiest for me. Trading card size is 3 1/2" x 2 1/2". If they are any different I will add that.

Hope you have fun looking as I am having drawing. Oh, and comments welcome. Just don't make me cry .

We have quite a few Belted Galloway here too. I know of two farms that have nice herds of them. We have Hereford, Hereford Angus, one Angus and an Angus Holstein cross. She is above . I personally would like Shorthorn, Red Poll or Normande. I like different .

I will def. look into some Galloway.

Thanks. I don't have a site because I haven't done any art in a long time. But something will be going on eBay today for the "Nibblefest" contest.

You see, years ago when eBay was a good venue for selling art (before the economy went bad) we used to have monthly contests on who would get the most bids etc. Now hardly anyone participates anymore as art is not selling so these things are not the fun and inspiration they used to be. BUT for fun now and then I like to toss something out there to show support. Only because of free listing on eBay because if it sells at .99 cents I am paying to sell it between eBay and PayPal fees.

Anyway, if you want (and it is legal on this board) I can post the link to the auctions once they are up. They all start at .99 cents. I don't know which I'll put up. I think the rules have changed now to where we can put up three. Used to be one but with lack of participants I think it is three.

This one is in Progresso Koh-I-Noor pencils, something I have not used before and finding them interesting and challenging. I think they'd be better on larger pieces or constantly being sharpened.
