Whew Lee, I feel for you! Our 18% rabbit feed went from $13/bag to nearly $18/bag in a couple weeks! I feed LOTS of hay, and supplement with as much other vegetation as I possibly can! Good luck finding a better/cheaper source!!

Your local feed stores don't sell 50 lb bags? Ask them if they can order them for you. My local stores carry the 25 and 50 pound bags.
Hi,

Yeah, they have the 50#. I should have written "buy in bulk" or something. Our bunny bunch is ripping through 50# bags like it's nothing. I called one of our suppliers who said he buys 50#, but as some good folk here he buys bags and bags of it at a time. Being that wholesale is usually less expensive we were hoping to find a place where we could purchase over 50# to save a little money and perhaps store it in galvanized cans with lids or something.

You all have been a big help. Thanks for the suggestions. :)

You knowwwww, I need to tell this to Lee.

Too, I think he is looking into free-ranging them (or some such stuff) in an effort to save on feed.

Thanks, Aggie.
