A suggestion for a forum / subforum

Yes! That would be a great idea. Make it the first sub-forum under each animal section. It could be the first place for people to look for answers to questions when they are needing first timer advice. An Emergency sections would be good too. Maybe it could be colored in RED font so it pops out for quicker help.

That's a great idea, esp. right now when I'm only one here for 10 mins. or so here and there....too much to do outside, so sometimes I miss 'important' stuff, until after it's too late.

I think that the emergency forum is a good idea, I'd like to add the suggestion that once they are resolved, the thread becomes locked or after 24 hours of no update..........I think this would help prevent unwarranted " chatter" on the threads. If we do this, I"d like to see a sitcky at the top of each thread that has vitals signs for that animal, as well as suggestions on what information to include. Granted a newb wont have time to read the sitcky, but WE will.

As for the getting started, I think that is also a good idea. If this comes to be, I have an "important links" page that has many educational paqes, informative thread, etc listed on one page.
Feel free to copy portions or all of it for sitckys or however it could be best used.

My farm is in "oh crud its spring gotta get everything done now" mode, but I would be willing to do whatever I can to help these subforums happen and run smoothly.
