I’m glad you got power back on. We are so dependent on electricity, for everything. I have oil lamps but can’t use them because of the fumes. Lamp oil, kerosene, doesn’t matter what I use, the fumes give me problems. I use collapsible tac lights. They are in the bathroom, under the cabinet and I can grope my way to them in the blackness. I always put them back in that same spot.

I keep a charged headlamp by my bed....even if power on, waking up in middle of night is dark!
I have a large Maglite under my bed and another mounted by the back door. I have 2 led headlamps and several of those lantern type pop-up flashlights also by the back door. I used to have battery lanterns but they finally died. They were over 30 years old.

Post card pretty.... Looks like a picture for a jigsaw puzzle...

We were supposed to get some wintry mix. Air is so dry I guess the first little wave didn't hit the ground... maybe a second wave in a bit then changing to a cold rain... don't know how much we will actually see. It is right around 31 at 8:30 a.m. so right on the edge... At least there is no wind... Probably just a COLD rain if we get much.
