Chillin' with the herd
I'm getting a 3 yr old pygmy doe wed. from a woman that didnt understand herd behavior. Seems Amy goat was pushing the younger does about and the woman was worried that she might hurt them. I explained that since she was the oldest and new to her herd, she was just asserting her authority as herd boss. So for $ 50.00 delivered my White Angora buck gets a new GF, such a deal. She also thought Amy was to fat and had put her on a diet, looks to me like she just ate some hay same as my other pygmy Mamma goat (8yrs old) always looks the same after eating, always pregnant. Amy has already had her first kid, so i should get a few more pygora kids to add to the herd
I expect a lot of pushing and shoving before Amy submits to Mamma goat, but as i tell all the goats remember choose amonst yourself but always keep in mind I am the ultimate herd boss on this farm ROTFL
