And why couldn't you go to bed then? And where are you? You posted that just before 5a.m. my time. My alarm had woke me up and hour before.

Do you work nights?

I do work nights, I am a night dispatcher for a trucking company, but I work from home, and can usually get things wrapped up by 2am and go to bed, but I was having some trouble w/ a driver that I didn't get taken care of til 4am, he needed a 6 am wake up call and it seemed easier to stay up til I had to call him, then to go to bed and get right back up. I was bored, not alot to do this early, so I was passing the time by posting pics!

So yep, that was 5am for me to! I fed Drama just after that, I normally get up at 8am to feed her and go back to bed depending on how late I got to bed, but I figured she could just eat early so I wouldn't have to get up again til I was ready.

Thank you wynedot55, I'm pretty crazy about them, I know they aren't as nice as many I see here, but I'm not complaining, and hopefully I can start working on breeding up! (that is if Panda will start giving me some heifers, I think we're due, 3 calves so far and all have been bulls)

I can get up early but, stay up at night to work would be a killer for me. My clock just isn't programed that way. I applaud you for being able to do it. We need round the clock manning of some very important jobs and those night shifts are hard.

When DH took over the farm, the cows really needed improving. Now we have bred up and they look good. In time your's will too. We all have to start somewhere and if it's the bottom then there's only one way to go-UP. And IMO, one appreciates up more when one has had to work to get there.
